Jet Medical Flights Limited is a private company specialising in providing air ambulance medical repatriation services. We also provide medical escort for patients who are well enough to travel on commercial flights.
 This commercial flight repatriation often is the most cost-effective way of getting the patient back home, however the patient must be fit to travel on a commercial flight.

During medical repatriation on a commercial flight with medical escort patients can be transported on a stretcher or in e.g. business class where patients can assume a comfortable position and recline their seats. At Jet Medical Flights we are always ready to set off, some of our staff hold the necessary visas and know foreign languages which enable them to communicate with local medical staff. In most cases, our medical staff arrive at their destination a day before the medical transport to personally check the medical condition of the patient, confirm and finalise the arrangements.

During the commercial flight with medical escort, the patient is traveling accompanied by a medical flight escort (it can be a nurse, paramedic or a doctor – depending on patient's medical condition).

Our Medical Repatriation Team will arrangethe full service (called bed-to-bed service) which includes: assessing patient's current condition (based on information received), organising the appropriate fit-to-fly certificate from patient's doctor, liaison with commercial airlines to fly patient back (e.g. in a sitting position or on a stretcher, with oxygen etc.), receiving medical clearances from commercial airlines for a flight with medical escort, organising tickets for all parties travelling, arranging land ambulance journeys both at patient's current location and destination, hospital admission (if required) in the UK, etc. At an additional cost we can also organise luggage or equipment shipment back to the country. We can also organise a part of the medical repatriation service, if that is our client's wish (e.g. only air ambulance flight or only medical escort on a commercial flight). We always try to be as flexible as possible, depending on the client's requirement.

At Jet Medical Flights Ltd we only employ medics who have vast experience in performing medical flight transfers and medical repatriations (both on board air ambulance or commercial flight).
